good product for the money
I received the hydrometer on time and in good shape, (in a new unopened package). It is a quality tool, but has one problem, and that is a minor one. The problem is a suction line that is curled and it is hard to get into the antifreeze. Other than that, it is all it is supposed to be.

it really works
this product measures coolant density. the more coolant in the system the higher the red arrow goes up. easier to read and more accurate than the floating ball meter. this product is also easier to clean out with water. and it is easier to use because of its size.

Not the worst idea
It is what it is. A plastic tool. It’s worth the 5 bucks to get an idea where your coolant stands. I could never get all the bubbles out, so I’m sure my readings were skewed. But for the money, you get a reasonable reading of where your coolant is and give you an idea of what you may need.
