Important reading for Suminagashi enthusiasts
There are only precious few reference materials that offer guidance and context for the western practicer of suminagashi. Anne Chambers’s book is therefore a must-read for anyone interested. She quotes widely from indispensable Japanese and other sources which are otherwise difficult to find, and thus she puts one in good stead, particularly if you haven’t yet enjoyed the privilege of an in-person suminagashi workshop. Highly recommended.
