I wanted to bring my oldish, but great sounding, hifi system a bit more up to date by adding a bluetooth input. I did a few hours investigation and this was the best unit I found at the price I wanted to pay. It works a treat out of the box. No set up just plug in the cables and paired my android phone to it immediately. Devices paired using aptx HD off the bat. Has it's own DAC and connects direct to amp. I also have my own Musical Fidelity DAC and it connects to that using optical cable. Probably the Musical Fidelity decoder is marginally better to my ear but the built in ESS Sabre is sweet for under $100. Unobtrusive little device that works perfectly.

This product works very well and has enabled me to use Bluetooth headphones with my old stereo. Great range into all rooms of small two bed villa, even out in the backyard!

4/5 due to lack of clear instructional information on the setup and operation fo the device. You definitely want more than an SBC bluetooth connection for any decent quality music reproduction with the receiving device.

The 1Mii B03 does not support 2 sets of Sony bluetooth speakers without distorting the sound on one set of speakers. It might pair up easily, but that is useless if they won't support both devices. I can use one pair of synched speakers, but not both. The much hyped sound quality is not supported either, my old $20 Digitech transmitter does the same job. Very disappointed in the product and with Bluetooth tech in general. Oh well, back to the old days and wired speakers and amps, at least they work ALL the time.
