Excellent portable BBQ
Bought this relatively lightweight BBQ for baking scones and cakes on the road and general BBQ duties during our camping travels. Some, but not a lot of, assembly required involving a few basic tools such as screw drivers and socket set (but you could get by with just a couple of medium philips head screwdrivers and a pair of pliers). Instructions were the pictorial as is common these days. Older buyers might need eyeglasses for the diagrams that show how parts fit together, especially the gas components. Legs fold under and external trays easily fold and come off for storage in smaller spaces. We found the item both solid feeling and relatively light, and with a brand name we trust. Once assembled and gas connected test showed instant results, and rapid heating with hood down. Excellent temperature control reflected in thermometer on hood top. First trial cook of butterflied chicken was simple and delicious. Results far exceeded expectations. We have a similar style and size BBQ at home, but this streets ahead. Of course it’s early days, but we are really pleased with the purchase and would readily recommend it to other campers.
