    Delightfully twisted

    BERNIE is probably one of the most extraordinary true stories I have ever watched. It is essential that you watch the making of the film, and the auditions of the gossips, actual residents, who feature hugely in the telling of this very peculiar story. They make it all even more difficult to believe. Lifting the lid on the "pine curtain" through East Texas - reveals a small township living happily in an isolated way. And one blow-in who captures their hearts in an extreme way. So, filled with laughter and surprises, and frustration of the local law enforcer it is startling. A writer's delight. Enjoy!
