Thorough, captivating, life saving.
This book is literally saving my life. I have Lyme didease, and I am so grateful to Stephen Buhner for sharing his knowledge. I am very impressed with the details he goes into to describe Lyme disease and the changes that occur at a cellular level because of it. This book has even managed to instill in me great respect for the Borrelia Burgdorferi bacteria. This helps with the healing process. I have been following the Buhner protocol for a month and a half now. After only three weeks my symptoms stopped worsening (after being on a constant downhill, that was a much welcome break) and now I am starting to see IMPROVEMENTS. If you have Lyme disease, I strongly urge you to read this book (Stephen Buhner's sense of humour will at the very least make you feel a bit "lighter") and try the protocol. Bear in mind that herbal medicine works slowly compared to conventional drug treatments. Don't give up.Read full review

Involved technical reading but helpful
I was recc this book by my Lyme Dr. It goes a lot into the detail of the disease process, the Borrelia organism and the individual herbs, and can't be absorbed all at once, especially on Lyme brain. A great reference book to come back to - this guy knows his stuff..
