    South Aust electrical grid is always a lottery

    Having a UPS is important in SA - its not the immediate blackouts we worry about, its the brown outs where our power supply drops away gradually. The APC product looks good and was easy to install. I charged it for a couple of days prior to connecting to my camera's security system, router and home computers. The software installed easily and I was able to setup the unit with my own preferences. I would have preferred some more information about connecting the internet cabling for the router, the instructions were a little confusing so I have left this task for the time being. Overall it good to have this quality product installed now.

    If you have power outages and depend on your computer then you need a UPS to keep your computer going while you save your work. This UPS is high quality and good value. It will last many years and the battery can be replaced a couple of times.

    Great little UPS!

    I live off grid, so sometimes I run out of power, this little unit is perfect for my set up, PC tower, screen and modem. Gives me plenty of time to save my work and shut down properly. The included software has good features too!
