better to buy new
These things have gotten way too expensive for used and in need of repair and new burrs.
By the time you update the parts and pay these crazy ebay prices, you might as well buy a new one. the updated models are better in most ways.
i got one, but turned out there were other issues not listed and i could have just bought a new one. but at the end of the day, if it turns on it will grind a pot of coffee well enough, even with old burrs. might just take longer and make more noise.
previously i had a Krups burr grinder that i got on sale. idk, they all grind coffee. i know there are differences, but if you really care about those differences, then get a new one in good condition, and if you don’t care, then why spend so much extra for something several years used?
