My own conclusion or understanding of this book: NOBODY is free of stress, but, since can't avoid things that stress us out, we definitely can master the way to react and respond to it and that changes its power over us; We become the Leader instead of having the chaos of stress leading our mind, draining our health, and destroying the joy and goodness of our soul. The Author of this book brings comprehensive approach to help readers harness the power of constructive emotions through mindfulness exercises to overcome stress for good and master their emotional response to stress. The short explanation of brain anatomy and the parts that react to stress are helpful to make you aware of what happening inside you when stress dominates your thought. Talking about this facts and its consequences on you, will put you in intellectual gear towards awareness to move forwards instead of letting down events freeze you. No picture of brain anatomy in this book! Although, I think the Writer could have simplified and done more clarification if she included pictures showing what she is taking about (the parts inside the brain that are responsible to stress reaction) such as the Amygdala (the automatic stress response); the Thalamus and Hypothalamus,. . ) demonstrated pictures showing of what talking about will root your believe and awareness to stand on tangible ground that you see it each time when stressful event trying to shake you down; Explanation and see what inside your brain that impulsively controlling you, will turn you from fighter to peace maker, because you cannot fight those parts inside your brain but you can heal them, reprogram them to happily work for you productively.Read full review
