My first was a Moto G & it only had 8Gb memory & Android updates ate all of it & forced an upgrade. I got smart & looked for a phone with a LOT of memory & the G4 Plus is available with 64Gb and one can add up to a 128GB microSDXC card which I did for both mine & Mom's. Never gonna run out of memory. Never. The WiFi part works with both 2.4 & 5GHz. The G only did 2.4 & 2.4 was so crowded to be near worthless. The Camera has 16Mpixels and a laser rangefinder. Great infocus pictures. Better than the 12Mpixels camera w/no laser rangefinder on both the G5 Plus & G6 Plus. I liked mine so much that I bought a second for Mom & she loves it!

The Moto G4 Plus is an old model that had "Great" promise. Unfortunately when Lenovo took over the build quality of their phones went into the dumpster. A search of any Motorola G4 problems will reveal that this is one phone to stay far away from no matter how attractive it may look. I purchased the one I have used knowing that it had problems however I was not fully aware of ALL the different issues that this phone had until I got it into my hands.

Coming from Moto G 1st Gen 8gb I'm thrilled to have more memory than I'll probably ever need. Then I went one step further and installed 128gb SD card to store photos and vids. Fingerprint reader is not a necessity but I'm liking it as well. I was concerned about the larger size but the thin profile makes up for it. I bought a belt holster and it's fine.

Motorola still has great quality. This phone holds true to the Motorola name even though it's manufactured by Lenovo, which is also a quality product. The Moto G4 series is the perfect size, it's still readable and also fits in your pocket without being bulky like larger phones. The 4 gig of ram really help this phone's speed across the board compared to the 2 gig models. Over all I am very pleased with this phone and would recommend it to friends and family.

This is a really great mid range phone! It has a really good camera, a finger print scanner and awesome battery life! The display is really beautiful and I believe it's a very nice looking design. I'm enjoying using it every day and because I have a lot of apps I use, I got the 64 gig phone with 4 gigs of ram. If you want a great all around device but don't have a lot of money to spend, this is a really great choice!!

Very performing with four gigs of ram, the wifi is very good, the battery is not excellent but good, fast charging with included wire is useful, the camera is pretty good too, the fingerprint sensor is awesome and always responsive, ringtone and other notifications are both on the same feature which is something I don't like, also there's no notification light, but overall I'm very satisfied with this phone

Although newer models have come out , the improvements are incremental rasher than major so there is no reason to replace it, GSM/CDMA is a must feature as (in America) a number of carriers use CDMA technology with other carriers use GSM.Being able to switch from one carrier to another that uses different tech makes the phone more usable to the point that getting a GSM only phone is a mistake that may cost the user money. Battery life is not very good as 100% charge will yield 100 minutes of use. If gaming far less.

This is a great little phone. All features work very well and much faster than my previous phone. Great sound quality and a great little camera. Only glitch is occasionally the screen will jump all over the place while charging. Also blocking several notification features, this problem is all but eliminated. Glad I got this phone.

No other phone comes close to this phone in terms of power, price, and above all the "Moto Actions" feature available only on Motorola phones. And no useless build in apps like Samsung apps that you can't even uninstall. And with Motorola you get the latest android for many years versus Samsung that you get updates for couple of years at the most and then you have to abandon the phone or sell it cheap.

I've had motorola products for years. Mainly because I was impressed with their tough and durable design and that has not changed. It's a rugged phone. MY problem is that, for some unlown reason (unless the phone is under warranty and you send to a service center) the phone starts clicking through various code, opening and closing programs and just jumping around like a psycho is using the touch screen. I buy a product to USE, not to take advantage of a warranty service program. How this defect made it into the field is disappointing and you don;t know you have the infection until you least expect it. I've booted the phone in safe mode, i will search through installed programs, I will do all that but that's not why I bought the phone. It is a time consuming issue and an injustice to me; I had other options and today I am looking at new phones. Don't risk the hassle. Move on.Read full review
