Kaboom vs toilet stains
I bought a new Toto toilet and within a year I had some bad stains under the rim and in the very bottom of the bowl. Regular brushing with different cleaners would not get all the stains off. I even did research to see if there might have been defects with the porcelain on Toto toilets. I did not find any known defects with Toto. I did learn that the house I moved into had Well water and the (Hard water) Well Water was a big part of the staining problem. More research brought me to the steps needed to get back to a sparkling Clean toilet. Step 1, Picked up Rubber gloves, Small sponge/scouring pad, Muriatic acid (sold at any Hardware Store) also used for cleaning swimming pools and cement. I bailed most of the water out of the toilet, Opened window for ventilation, added 1 cup of the muriatic acid. Lightly scrubbed for less than 2 minutes. Flush toilet. Your toilet will look like New. Step 2, Picked up The Kaboom Toilet Cleaning System. Very easy to install. The cleaning tablets that you put in the container are supposed to last around 3 Months. I have had my System installed for about 6 Weeks now and have No signs of staining. I was so happy with the results that I purchased a System for my Mom. What I read was you will really need to do the steps. Heavy duty cleaning and the system will keep your toilet nice and clean. There are other options for the cleaning part for those who are afraid to work with acid. All I can say is it worked well for me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Keep it clean
This product is minimally invasive to the internal parts of the toilet tank and it works exceptionally well at keeping lime and rust deposits from forming. Generally a soft scrub is all that is needed when cleaning the bowl. We have used it in multiple toilets without issue. Great product and works well
Love it, wish I'd known about it sooner. Brilliant way to put bleach in the bowl of the toilet without messing up the parts inside the tank. It can take a little work to get the tubes hooked up right, but well worth it! Should cost half as much and last twice as long
it works perfectly, and I can't find a similar product that's any cheaper; but I've had two of these break. The inlet where the tube attaches becomes brittle and attempting to remove the water tube to do repairs on the toilet results in the inlet breaking. Way over priced for what it is....but since I can't find an alternative that does the job in the same way....4 stars for a great idea, held one star back for the high price and the brittle inlets....be careful when removing the inlet and outlet tubing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Can't believe it works!
This Kaboom toilet cleaning system works! All I did was install the kit, scrub the toilet bowl with the toilet brush one last time. The Kaboom toilet cleaning system took over after that. Great system but discontinued refill tablets

Best helper Saves environment and often manual scrubbing. No need for bottled cleaners and other gimmicks with excessive chemical bleaching and waste!
How could I exist with out this for all these years. Best invention ever, didnt need to brush the toilet bowl for couple of weeks since I installed it which was also easy peasy. Have lighter handy as provided rubber tube may be tad skinnier than random outlet prongs, heating tube lightly will give elasticity until cools back down, fits perfect and stays put. Genial design without corroding the reservoir hardware or the gaskets, chlorinated water pours right into the bowl which dissolves stains. I opted to save one tablet of the two provided with this kit and proves being a good decision. If there is a fresh po.0p-stain left after flushing, no worries, came back hour or two later and it was gone, erased, as if invisible stranger came to scrub it off and flush it away completely, works amazingly and its still unbelievable to me how great it works. It does emit slight bleach odor from the 1" chlorine tablet albeit it's very light scent and for a short moment after which it'll disappear. Also good as an indicator of need of adding new tablet if you dont smell it after flushing or coming back to murky or stained looking bowl. You will be able to tell without marking anything down, I'm 100% positive! Recommending this to everyone, cheaper and safer than liquid bowl cleaner solutions sold everywhere, also less rough for the environment and eliminating the PVC product bottles. This should be mandated to every household along with BAN on any other toilet cleaning products, that's how great Kaboom is!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
