These work OK once you get them installed, but my headstock ('94 Epiphone Sorrento) is too thick for them. The Sorrento had Kluson tuners on it so I thought these locking jobs would be a drop-in replacement. The problem is that the string hole in the post barely clears the top of the ferrule. This makes threading a plain string difficult and threading a wound string nearly impossible. I will probably end up going with Sperzels when I have the time and money, which is what I've mostly done the last fifteen years or so.

"Hi, I bought these tuners to replace the existing tuners on a "2000 les Paul classic". When installed the posts don't come through high enough so the string feed hole doesn't clear the bushing. I believe I installed them correctly. They do seem to be a quality product."
