Intonatable Bridge
Bridge is a great replacement for my U2. Only issue is the screws. I used my original Danelectro Screws as the one's supplied with the bridge are way to long. If i had used them they would have protruded thru the back of the guitar, also it came with two of the rear screws and only 1 front screw. other then that the bridge is great. It was nice to be able to properly intonate the gutar and it has better sustain and brightened up the tone too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

O tay
I bought this for the U-2 version. I contacted Dan Electro to see if the part would work. They said ok. The one problem I had, on the high E string, I worked the saddle all the way out, as far as it will go, and it was still out of tune. So I only got to intonate 5 out of the 6 strings. Which is still better than the old bridge. So, it's ok. I wish they made a bridge just for the U-2 version. Instead of trying to fit a U-3 bridge on my guitar. Risky but worthwhile project item
I bought this to replace one on a DanElectro Hodad that came with the factory Bigsby tailpiece. *Warning* : this product is not specifically designed for this model and I chose this properly spaced bridge knowing that I would have to drill a hole in my guitar. The aspect issues (string spread, etc) were outweighed by the flush profile and stop feature. Good Upgrade
Great upgrade from the original bridge. It’s a little challenging to intonate but worth the trouble. And it mounted right in place with no issues at all. If you have a 1448 or any other Dano that still has the original bridge, get this upgrade. Great improvement, fits U2
My 56 U2 bridge disintegrated. I read that these U3 replacements would fit the U2 so I tried it out. Fits fine and is a great improvement over the stock bridge. I would say more but apparently I'm using some word eBay doesn't like.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

dano bridge

Great new bridge!
This bridge turned my Danelectro into an amazing sounding guitar that is fun to play. The original, non-adjustable bridge sucked and cause the strings to sound dull and not sustain notes very long. There were also "dead-spots" on the upper frets were the notes wouldn't even sound. This new bridge changed all that. It took 3 minutes to install and 15 minutes to adjust. Just what I needed
My Danelectro 56 U2 reissue was running into a problem that many of those guitars have: The original bridge was bending. Replacing it with this new bridge was super easy.
