A quality digital micropscope that is fun and easy to use.
The 5 MP camera and the relatively sturdy stand make this a much better choice than the cheaper USB microscopes out there (I have one of those for the kids). The Windows PC software tool was easy to setup and works beautifully to display and capture the images (or video). Calibration tool is very handy. It is great to be able to see your images on a big screen. You can even use it on a mobile phone (but you have to find sooftware that works, I use OTG View). The lens is surprisingly good. Just don't expect it to compete with an optical microscope with decent lenses. For what it is, it is very usable and a lot of fun.

Does what is says on the box.
This model does not have on/off/intensity control on the LEDs. It would be better is it did. It comes with a CD, which seems a bit old fashioned now, and the software download site could be better organised. Otherwise, it works well. I’m using it mainly for SMD board inspection and solder rework and the image quality is good for that. The stand, with its work-holding clips, also seems to work well.
