It appears easy to use, if you know your stuff. It comes across as been high quality in looks but the controls on front panel appear to be well not as good as you expect. But price wise you can't expect better. I have not been able to hear surround sound and all the different formats. I already have a 5.1ch setup, bought this as a replacement in case things went wrong as most of them now are 7.2 and 9.2 and watts output too high for speakers. but I am using it as a stereo amp, have connected tv to optical, using analogue input as well for turntable. There was no instruction manual included but got round that online downloaded and printed it off. So that will give me an awful lot to learn about it
