Great amp, you should buy one!
.A Beautiful Amplifier!! I have the MK 50 and wanted the features of the MK 100 as well as two 12" speakers. This amp is so versatile that I can play heavy metal, blues and jazz or put it on acoustic and get incredible acoustic tones. You can go to Boss Tone Studio and set your channels to exactly what you want for a specific song or you can set all 8 settings to do a set if you are performing live. Katana 100w 2x12
I've been playing guitar for well over a decade and I'm a gear nut. I own or have owned many guitars and amps through the years. I am not a fan of solid state amps. I'm normally a tube amp or die type of guy......but.... the Boss Katana does tube tone. By far the best sounding solid state amp I've ever heard. Add the versatility of the amp and the price and it's a no brainer. This amp will stay in my stable of gear and so far, I haven't touched a tube amp or pedal board since I got it. Omg it's awesome! Buy one. You won't regret it.

Boss is Boss
Just like their famous multi-effects pedals, this amp delivers in a big way. Their choice of speakers is excellent, and the power curve on each setting is outstanding. While not completely clean, it comes quite close, and I have no reason to disqualify this rating. I give it a 4-star+ overall rating for absolute quality, and a 5-star rating for overall value. If you like a modern sound that you can customize from your amplifier's controls - than this amp is for you.

I don’t normally write reviews but.... This amp is amazing! After my son played it for a few minutes his first comment was what I thought about him selling his tube combo. To me that spoke volumes. I bought the foot switch , a must have because it opened up the versatility of the amp, and now plan on purchasing an FV500L volume pedal to complete the package. We can’t wait to get this amp connected to the Boss website to see what the capabilities are.
