She loves the full hand grip. As people age & have arthritus in their hands, it's much easier to squeeze with all the fingers than it is with just one as most of the grabbers use. Great grabber, light weight but holds tight and can pick up lightweight to medium weight objects without worry of dropping. Not sure I'd trust it to heavy stuff being grabbed over my head height. Useless for my needs
I have had other reachers with the same design and they were very effective. Everything I tried to pick up slid right through the gripping jaws. I can’t even pick up a section of newspaper or a half-full box of tissues. I bought 2 and both are equally useless.
