This is a New Sigma 50mm Art Lens for Sony A mount. These are getting harder to find. Great lens for portraits with a 1.4 minimum Aperture you have the ability to make the back ground very soft. This prime lens is very sharp and can be used as an every day lens since it give a look close to your standard field of view. Although this was made for Sony A it will also fit many Minolta Maxxum cameras as well.

Lens has fungus
When I first received the lens I was ecstatic. For the price and the image quality I felt as though I had scored a true bargain. Within two days of un-boxing the product I was looking at the lens in full daylight and discovered that it is rampant with fungus on the front internal lens. I am truly disheartened now. This was the first time I had invested in a lens of this quality and to see it in the state it is now disappoints me to no end. Reading the return policy I would be asked to pay a restocking fee which it absurd.
