Great compact mixer with features alpenty...
Very impressed with the sound quality and versatility of the Mackie Mix8. Aux send/return a big feature for a mixer at this price point as well as tape in/out and control room send functions. 3 band eq and balance all work well and the pots all have a very positive 'quality' feel to them. Straight forward in use (anyone familiar with mixer functions will have no trouble operating this one) and the compromises this unit makes (lower resolution led level display, no power switch, lighter weight casing etc..) are expected for the price and frankly would only concern buyers who should be looking at mixers of a higher end capability anyway. This unit is great for podcasting, small project home recording or anyone who wants control over multiple inputs that requires equalization, balance with the potential to send to external effects processors and the like. All in all, am very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a mixer with the caveats I mentioned.

i upgraded from the horrible behringer sound to an amazing Mackie sound. The difference is HUGE. Very clear & warm. Highly recommend.
