Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Electric Breast Pumps
I was sold on the medela brand. The way the milk is fed via two valves to slow the flow. Also make the baby work for the milk, similar way as breast feeding. Other brands have similar features but require buying other bottles and can work out being expensive. I found medela to be reasonable for buying additional parts. Mind you I would recommend buying the electric pump second hand. It's a huge cost but plenty being sold for a fair amount on ebay. We had bought a manual pump early days, and the electric pump fitted to the bottle the same. So now have plenty attachments to alternate between feeds. Recommend having more as saved any stress.

It’s very slow. I bought it thinking I could pump faster. My hand pump was just as fast if not quicker. It’s as if it’s an old machine. The pump is very noisy & seems old. Quite disappointed

The breast cups, used with medium 20mm nipple shields, are very comfortable and the stimulation setting progresses automatically to the pump setting after 2 min stimulation, which is what I wanted, without having to press extra buttons, and it is possible to vary the modes ad-lib as well which is great . Personally, I need to use it on maximum settings and with the close fitting nipple shields to pump effectively. Sometimes the vacuum seems a little weak, but that can probably be overcome with thoroughly drying the tubing on its inside, or if necessary, replacing just the tubing. This was a secondhand product so if the tubing does need replacement that's not surprising.
