Perfect fit for normal Nintedo 3DS
This specific circle pad is for a normal 3DS not an XL. It's difficult to find these in the States anymore for a decent price. Even though it is Japanese it works perfectly, it is not region locked. With it I'm able to play games such as Resident Evil Revelations, Monster Hunter etc etc. It came with batteries which allowed me to use the circle pad right away. Works like a charm and has minimal wear that is consistent with average play with no other damage or dysfunction! for those wondering if the attachment is worth adding to your collection for me its a big yes. the extra controls, honestly makes any game you can play using it much better giving you way more flexibility and even when playing a game that does not support the extra buttons or stick it is still worth having on my old model 3ds because the system is tiny and I have big hands.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great idea, but worse execution
I like the idea of this pad. It should provide a second analog stick and a comfortable grip for the old 3DS, which is a pain to hold for a longer periods of time. If you want to finally play MH as it was meant to be played then yeah, go for it. This is a must have if you play games like Resident evil Revelations and other shooters which support circle pad pro.
