I was having trouble with my TV reading certain video files as the usb port wasn't putting out enough power to run the usb drive.
With this hub my problem was solved plus you can use it to charge devices as well.
Great to have USB connectivity on my desk rather than messing around at the back of my all in one.
Also great not to worry about cables reaching, etc. Sleek, compact hub; lots of ports for multiple devices. External hard drives x4 plugged in working great. For what I needed it for it does flawlessly. The 2 extra charging hubs on the end are a nice touch. I would recommend this to everyone.
This is a great product, slim stylish and functional. The benefits of the additional power ports frees up the data ports for usage rather than charging.
The only down side for me was that the data cord was not long enough other than that its a great product highly recommended.
Working well with external back up and expansion drives. Printer recognition was also instant. Huge difference to my home office set up with everything functioning via the hub.
Excellent product it's a pity it doesn't have a single 2.1amp charging port for fast charging of mobile phones ( only has 1.5amp charging ports ) very happy other wise works straight out of box ( plug and play)
