    Great bench power supply for hobbysts and light industry

    Very good linear power supply for hobbyists. It has two constant current, variable voltage outputs (0-24 Vdc, 0.5 A) with independent variable current limitation. It also has a fixed voltage output (5 Vdc, 4 A). It is possible to use the variable outputs independently, in parallel (double the current), or in series (double the voltage). It has one analog voltmeter and one analog ammeter to measure either variable voltage output. The picture matches the actual product. Although it shows its age, nothing seems broken or scratched on the outside.

    BK PRECISION Triple Power Supply 1651, in one word WOW!

    The folks at NTC Tech are professionals all the way. I yet to see a used power supply in the shape that I received mine. I can deal with some very small scratches being that it's a used power supply. Most important, I was able to fire it up and it does exactly what it is suppose to do for a triple output power supply.     Tried and true design that has been made for decades.

    Hard to find good triple output power supplies. B&K has been selling this and similar variations for decades. It's a tried and true design that continues to this day. New versions of this supply are $400 and up in the B&K catalog. These supplies are very high quality and last for decades. Highly recommended.

    Great bang for the buck.

    These are one of the best 'older' bench supplies for the money, usually had for around $50. They are full featured. If only they had a little more current for the variable supplies. If you don't need any interface features, these are great old additions to the bench.

    An excellent bench PSU

    This is an excellent linear bench PSU. 5V is accurate to 2 digits (5.00XX), knobs are nicely dampened, and the unit itself does not occupy much bench space. I haven't looked inside yet, but it seems that this unit is not much different from the currently marketed 1651A and 1652. Considering that 1651A retails at $492, do yourself a favor, and grab one of these! They are essentially the same unit.
