Product Information
This is a Black & Decker Edge Hog tool for trimming the edges of lawns and making small trenches for laying cables. It has 2.25 HP and runs electrically, which makes it very quiet and of course removes the need for petrol. The motor is high-torque, so little physical effort is needed to run the machine, and a built-in cord retainer keeps the power cord at the right length whilst the machine is in use.Product Identifiers

Black and Decker LE750 Edge Hog Edger
This edger replaced a B & D edger that I have owned for nigh on 30 years. This one seems sturdier, particularly in the handle and shaft. It, also, seems more powerful. I think I would like to have more of a knife edge on the blade though. I think this might give the grass edge a sharper finish. I will try this as a replacement balde is nit very expensive. Smart, Smooth, & Quiet
Edging can be a pain but this quiet little tool makes it much easier. Plenty of power, lay out the cord & your edging. No fuel to spill, engine to start, weight to deal with, and very little noise.. The LE750 sports a blade guard that minimizes grinding the pavement edge. The height adjustment is easy, there is also a setting allowing the machine to function as a slitter. I would buy it again
I liked the price. I like the quality. I like the light weight. I like the power, it doesn't get bogged down. It gets through it, and gets the job done. The guard is a little small. Why do I say that? It loads up with trimmings. But after you get the edge trimmed out, it goes really easy the next time. The next test will be longevity. Only time will tell. Happy! One of the best edgers I have ever used. Never been a fan of Black & Decker products, but I am now sold.
I love this edger, I have never used one that performs like this one. The only "con" I guess I would give is that it is electric which requires a power cord. Greast edger
I gave this a star because even the normal cheap Chinese quality is less than with the old one I had. The edger works great, but the wheels are cheaper plastic than before, they are mounted with el-cheepo push nuts, and overall housing quality seems thinner and much cheaper than the one I had previously which I think was also made in China. Maybe my old one was made in Mexico since Mexico does make better things than China. My old one lasted over 10 years and I'd still have it if it were not lost in a move. I wonder if this one will last as long. Then B & D does not care, they only want to sell things. Well-made little tool that handles average yard edging quite nicely. I wouldn't recommend it for all day use, but it is light and maneuverable with enough guts to handle clean-up around a lawn.
