ResMed CPAP Chin Strap restraint helps minimise or prevents air loss through your mouth during CPAP therapy using a nasal CPAP mask. The intent of the CPAP Chin Restraint is to restrict your mouth from opening during Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) treatment and help to minimise the air loss through your mouth. It can be used in conjunction with a wide range of sleep apnea masks and nasal pillow mask systems. A chin strap will help to hold your mouth closed and provides you with a more comfortable experience by reducing side-effects such as dryness in the mouth and throat, and air swallowing (aerophagia).
