Great value for money.
I wasn't expecting much from such a low-priced tripod, but it's incredibly well-built. The leg extension clamps hold well, as do all the adjustments at the mount. Buttery smooth pan and tilt actions, but they lock well, and the spirit and bubble levels help enormously. For equipment under 2kg I highly recommend it, especially for portable use. It even has a handle on the side for moving it to a new position without risking sliding something of place by grabbing it elsewhere. Comes in a nice zip-up carry case also. Only two complaints: The carry case is a very snug fit around the mounting part, and requires you to collapse the tripod in exactly the right way to get it in there at all. The rotary lever that extends the centre post sometimes skips over the track it's supposed to lock into if you try to extend or collapse it too quickly. All in all, very happy with my purchase, and I'm fairly certain I would have paid at least $50 for the same thing at my local camera store.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not a precision item.
The tripod legs are stable and work fine. However, the panhead needs some design work. The locking screw tends to lift the camera attachment slightly when tightened. The Panhead assembly is stiff and takes some force to move it in a horizontal plane. The vertical plane, which is adjusted by a handle (not to be confused with the up and down winder) is also stiff. The locking not for this, doesn't work at all. Unfortunately, I purchased this not realising that this is poorly engineered and manufactured lacking in any precision. This really is a quality product, very impressed with all the features especially like the quick release attachment plate for camera mounting. All features are quick & easy to use. The tripod is aluminum alloy so is light & comes with a strong carry bag making transporting easy. Postage is speedy. Has all the features and is sturdy!
It's cheap for a tripod with it's included features. Although it is mostly plastic, there is a handle that is created with metal and there is also foam that is attached on the three legs. The head is unfortunately not fluid and not that smooth. But great for still videography and photography!

Good for the price-point.

Recommend for the amateur photographer
Stable platform, everything clicks in solid, it holds my camera well, and the level gauges are properly aligned - although they aren't the most responsive to movements of one or two degrees, they're quite cheap. This has all the features I want as an amateur photographer. Professional tripods can do everything this can do better, but at an order of magnitude higher cost. A very good all round compact and reasonably lightweight tripod.

Good overall, poor tilt
It's a good stand overall, feels light yet solid. The only problem is the tilt. It can't hold my A6300 in any position other than flat. A slight tilt and it falls, no matter how much you tighten it. Luckily I will only use it level, so I hot glued it into position to prevent accident falls while shooting...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
