It Never Shut Off
I used it a week before I noticed the unit had a fan that never shuts off. I finally unplugged it and the noise and fan stopped. I don't know if it's a flawed unit but I only plug it in when I want to use my Xbox. Which is less than usual being that I forgot to unplug a couple times. Loud and overheats

It works... I guess
There is a fan inside this adapter that runs at all times, regardless of whether or not the Xbox is on. It does seem to work fine, but I have been unplugging it from the wall every time I’m not playing my Xbox to mitigate this.
