I needed something simple and inexpensive to finish out the end of the fishing season and this fit the bill perfectly. So far so good
Made up a test model boat to test and learn how to get it to work - Spent an hour on a small local river with the model tethered on a fishing line. I still am playing with settings to find best display results - 3ft of water showed weeded bottom and several fish on first try. I need to get some more time to learn how to tune to get best display for different conditions. Next stage is to fit to my fishing boat but that's about 6 weeks away - I also plan to use a mapping app to make my own charts.
