This is my second Igloo ice maker. The first one was bought new and served me well for two years of daily use. Then it began to take a long time to make ice, like 2 hours so I figured it was on its last legs. I bought this one ASSUMING it had been new as it was a customer return. Not so much. It operates like my old one so my advice is to buy NEW. A NEW IGLOO is worth the money paid for the usage.

I bought this unit to replace an older one that stopped working. Set up was easy and it started making ice within 10 minutes of getting it out of the box.

We live in a 5th wheel, 30' rv. While it does have a refrigerator and a freezer, it does not have an ice maker. Having the Igloo ice maker, saves on repeated trips to a mini market or grocery store for bags of ice, to keep your cooler or ice chest cold. It would also be beneficial to those homes that have a refrigerator, that came without an ice maker, or the homeowners not wishing to continually fill up ice trays,

See the photo...looked like it was dropped down a dumpster.

Very convenient to have extra ice on hand.

I have had mine now and used it for a few weeks. It’s a low hum, not too loud. It puts out ice as expected and is easy to maintain. I’ve been without an ice maker for years and this is amazing!.
