    Cheaper in the long run.

    I bought this battery pack for a CPX-6 compatible Coleman LED lantern and also to be able to use it for other products in the CPX-6 range. It seems well made and able to stand a bit of bumping around in the back of a ute or 4WD. I like that it comes with a 12 volt lead to be able to recharge it from the vehicle lighter socket so on an extended camp it will always be charged up ready for another nights lighting or pumping up air beds when plugged into a CPX-6 air pump or running a CPX-6 tent fan on warm nights, just swap it in and out as needed. All in all a very handy battery pack that will pay for itself very quickly as D batteries are not cheap at all and don't last long either. I'm very happy with the battery pack and the price I got it for on eBay.
