The Protege Aquarium External Filter utilises ultraviolet light to sterilise water against micro organisms. It can be used to clean fresh or saltwater tanks of up to 480L in capacity. The motor requires 240V and 60W of power, and it is capable of pumping 2,400L of water every hour. The filter is a Great product This is an efficient compact and easy to install. Great product. Only issue was the UV lamp was not working when I unpacked the box and installed the UV lamp. Bit annoying when have to go and buy a new UV lamp to get benefits of the filter. Replacement lamp was expensive. 30% of the cost of the filter.
