They said it couldn't be done
I installed this as an upgrade onto a 96 1500 ram 4x4 with 6 inch lift on 37 inch tires to fix the typical dodge steering. Was told by almost everyone on the forums it won't fit on a 1500 it went on almost perfect I had to Waller out the Pittman arm a little bit. Nothing major 30 minute install did a military alignment took more time to find a shop to align it due to tire size than to do install. I did this and a steering box brace to fix the dodge steering and it did my big ads truck drives like a sports car

Great upgrade for a 2003-2008 Dodge
I got this for my 2003 Dodge 2500 4wd. This is the 2009 upgrade. It is much beefer then the Y-style. Fits perfect but you will need to get a 2009 pitman arm as the original one will not work. I installed this with a dual steering Stabilizer kit as well. Truck handles like a dream. Fast and free shipping. This cannot be beat! Thank you!

This tie rod kit is awesome, I did my research and used this kit to upgrade my 03 3500 Cummins, less cost than those kits advertised as the 08.5-12 upgrade and you get grease zerts too boot, just get an 09 pit man arm and your good to go.
