  • Defect parts. Not reliable.

It fits my 1988 Dodge/Plymouth COLT 1.5L, 4 Cyl. My oil pressure light went on. I was concerned that may be my car was low on oil pressure. However, the engine seem to run normal. I replaced this switch and fixed the problem. The oil light went off. Feb. 2023. Updates: I Installed it on an older car that I don't use it much. It is now Oct 2023. The part is defect. It failed in 560.2 miles. It is leaking, dripping oil and the switch stuck closed. Oil light stays on with proper operating oil pressure. I am a mechanical engineer, very careful with my machine.
