The book reads as if your are there in Borg! A remote town with road running through it! Brit Marie's character is poignant, rediculous but sad. The other characters in the book reveal their eccentricities as the story unfolds and find a way into your heart. The cleaning product Faxin and the arrangement of the cutlery drawer figures prominently throughout the book!! Football is the true love of the inhabitants of Borg. However since the ruin of the town due to lack of council support and unemployment there is no football pitch or goal posts. Despite the lack of facilities the enthusiasm for the game remains positive. Brit Marie through default becomes the coach of the team. One should mention here that there is a wonderful rapport between Brit Marie and the girl from the unemployment office throughout the book. This was the reason for her being in Borg in the first place! There Are several choices to be made by Brit Marie in the closing chapters of this book. Will she choose the past, present, or something else? One feels exhilarated reading this book!Read full review
