Good router with some limitations.
The router is one in a line of three that I have owner over the years. This model 1600 while faster than the 600 model that failed does not have the same broadcast range. If I did not already own a WiFi extender this could have been a disappointment. Nice Router But Not Very Sturdy
These Belkin router are cheap and easy to set up. They work very well if you get a good one. My old one is at least 5 years old and still going strong. However, the last 2 AC1600s that I bought weren't any good. Bought a new one from THE large on-line retailer and it was DOA. Of course their minimal packaging (read none) probably did it in. Bought a used one here, and it lasted about a week. Worked very well until I started upgrading the Cat cables, and it suddenly quit. I think I must have been too rough and broke something. Went back to my old one and it is working just fine. Bottom line, always have a backup or 2. They seem to make them cheaper all the time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Easy to configure and synch in with existing wifi network
I set it up as an Access Point and with some minor configuration it was synched in with my home network and other wireless routers. Having the two bands (2.4 / 5) being able to automatically go up/down based on the device is really nice.
