Great phone. Heavy duty which is what you pay for. Haven't tried it underwater yet, but would appear to do the job. Works well on the Boost / Telstra network in SA so far. Haven't been out to the countryside yet to see how it works, but should be ok as has the main frequencies used. The Flir is fun. Overall a good solid phone. Having a battery which could be inductively charged would have been beneficial, but alas this is not the case. Still trying to sort out separate notification sounds. Unfortunately cannot see how many missed sms's at a glance-have to pull down notifications panel-only a minor problem. The camera appears to function ok. Android works well. Internet product support excellent. FLIR seems to work well and from what I can tell is very accurate temperature values. Nice to hold in big hands. Heavy but I like a heavy feel. 2 days pull the battery up. The "Rugged Heavy Duty Case" is good, could do with a larger Velcro pad as the extra plastic clip is slow to open and close. A big pad of Velcro would do in most cases. Pared to car ok. You will not find a "hotspot" icon in the pull down screen - after I contacted the support and they helped find the hotspot in settings, after which the icon appeared in the pull down screen.
