Despite the relatively hard brake pad material, our Redstuff pad achieves a very high coefficient of friction (0.5) and thus provides more braking power and faster deceleration in faster and heavier vehicles (> = 220 hp) without putting excessive strain on the brake disc. Excellent braking performance is achieved even when the brakes are cold, but of course this improves progressively as the temperature of the brake pads rises. As with Allen hard materials, the 'grinding procedure' is extended to approx. 1500km.
