took a chance on these,good price,out of the box sounded ok at best, muddy bass,empty mids dull highs,anyway after 4-5 hrs these were totally different cans all of the above faults gone,nice deep bass mids spot on treble fine,i`m not a believer in burn in,but what a difference,Ive listened to many decent headphones,these are not the best,but for the price they are very very good,and worth every penny (with burn in)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sennheiser HD 579. I finally found what I was searching for. .
Comfortable, lightweight yet sturdily built headphones. Excellent clarity. Punchy bass when required and powered by the good quality equipment. Definitely recommend to those entering the world of high end headphones.
