We use this unit to clean circuit boards, although before doing that I tried it with some dishes! For cleaning circuit boards it does a good job. We use it filled with methylated spirits, but this is against recommendations, so try at your own risk! Board orientation makes a difference to the clean, as does length of soak beforehand and length of active clean, so lots of trial and error involved in ending up with a good clean. I tested the earthing on the unit before using, and it came up good. The heater in it is pretty useless, though. The liquid heats up about as much by just using the ultrasonics as it does with the heater. To heat from room temperature (25 deg C or so) to 50 deg C took hours. If you need hot water you're better off heating it externally first. So we do get a good clean on our boards, but it took more learning than anticipated. I don't think this is any fault with the unit, just a fact of life. As for the dishes experiment, I wouldn't be replacing your current dishwasher with this unit! It will clean your dishes, but with painstaking effort, time and skill on your part!Read full review

Build Quality seems to be good, works but I expected better cleaning ( leaves on sticky labels and items need to be wiped down after, more a drit loosener than cleaner in some cases, eg my electric tooth brush needed a bit of a scrub after). I bought it mainly to clean circuit board, which it does well, and has bought some parts back to life, so I made ROI instantly :)

This unit is suitable for light weight roller doors. It was easy to install but, when installing, please check that the T and B cams engage the switches in the centre of the cam before setting the up and down limits. I found that the switch was not installed correctly and the T cam did not engage the switch in the centre of the cam. The B cam seemed to be ok. Rather than return the unit I found the simple remedy for this problem was to insert a piece of thin cardboard between the side of the switch and the screw housings thereby raising the switches and allowing the cam to engage securely. Hope this was helpful.
