Needs a few hardware parts revised
Although it suppose to be a retro fit for the old Winegard it does not locate in the travel location fitting. The gear sector is a loose fit in the mast. It should be atleast size for size or tap in fit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A failure for what it was claimed it would do
Winds up and down ok but it doesnt have the claimed 144km range and it doesnt pick up any channel 7 stations despite only been 35kms north of channel 7 transmittor it picks up chnl 10,2 ,3,9 with dropouts on reception and associated chlns and radio my van TV picks up all the chnl 7 stations and everthing else perfectly clear when i take it into the house and connect it to the small house antennae so this new aerial is very disapointing to say the least $419.00 wastedVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

A Good Retrofit for an old Aerial
TV reception is good, can pick up 36 channels where previous aerial was not functioning at all. You need a bit of DIY experience to fit. Existing mounting pins were corroded and needed a bit of WD40 and a careful hammer to remove. Had to do a bit of fitting adjustment to existing "Antenna Tek" mount which needed to width reduced (by filing) where the mounting pin fitted to allow correct C Clip engagement.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Warning if retrofitting an AntennaeTek aerial
This antennae is excellent BUT if you are buying it to retrofit an existing Dometic antenaetek antennae you will find it not suitable as the pivot pin is too short and when the aerial lowered it will not sit in the slot designed to prevent side movement.
