Great Compact Sawzall
This saw is a great saw and is in ways significantly better than roto type cutting tools. This saw worked very well cutting holes inside a small kitchen cabinet. the quick blade release works very well. Try getting into tight and compact spaces with a regular larger corded sawzall, it wont work. It has a large enough guard plate base that can work as a guided jigsaw on certain projects. I am impressed with the m12 tools. They are perfect for the homeowner. This saw is a great size and weight, can get into smaller places and a one hand tool to boot. For a 12 volt tool it has plenty of power. Wow nice!
So for like $140 you get around 90% of the performance of the Hilti saw which cost around $280 for the kit. If you just have to have the best of the best, The Hilti seems to be like 10% better based on reviews. I've never seen it in person though. This saw has no weakness according to all professional and private reviews I have found. I received it about an hour ago and tried it before putting the battery on the charger and it is wow nice. Hard to find
I had to search for a while to find a “complete” saw. Almost every offer was for the bare tool and I didn’t want to risk buying everything separately only to discover that parts weren’t compatible. Light and effective
I've only used this on trees around the yard so far and to cut a piece of 2" aluminum conduit, but haven't used up the first charge yet. It does a great job and is actually light enough to use effectively one-handed. Very little vibration as long as I kept the shoe against the material.
