Bringing back my teenage youth.....
Comes in a wooden box which is over 80kg. Opened the box outside the house and moved the components inside and started setup. Rear legs went on ok, but the front legs backing plates were not fixed inside, so took time to find and bolt in. When started, some of the video cables were not plugged in, so opening the rear, easily found the loose cables and reattached. Excellent, it worked! Looking at the instructions, of which all there were, was a list of the games and some rudimentary information on how to access the games on the hard drive running Windows 7, on how to make minor adjustments. No assembly instructions. We had to figure out what buttons to press in what sequence to select a game. When we started the machine, the volume was incredibly loud, not to mention the sub woofer. It could be heard from one end of the house to the other. So I opened the machine, disconnected the cable to the sound system and plugged in a spare pair of laptop speakers and now the volume is tolerable. We leave the machine on all the time. There is a single power switch at the back to turn the machine on and off. This makes it annoying as you reset everything back to when first started, so if you are halfway through scrolling games, you go back to the start. Good points:- Sturdy, well constructed, looks and feels like a genuine pinball machine; Subwoofer sound system gives the feel of being in an amusement arcade; Great price when compared against other online sales; Company that sells this from Victoria very helpful in support; 12 month warranty. Bad points:- No assembly instruction manual; No instructions except a games list; Very loud sub woofer sound system with no simple access to change volume; No sleep mode. The machine is either on or off; A vague description on changing the settings so you could record and keep your high scores. It involves opening the machine, plugging in a keyboard and mouse and starting the machine to access an internal menu. This should have been done at the initial software installation at the factory, not left to a buyer. Very heavy(80kg), so you require two or more people to move it.
