Safe harbor in 'Safe Haven'.
Another Sparks reader stated that 'someone always dies in his novels'. That is a foregone conclusion in "Safe Haven'. I decided to order a copy based on the 'Lifetime Channel' version of this novel and I wasn't disappointed with the original story. The book explores several themes of love: toxic love, unrequited love, and the memory of a good love that can linger painfully, sweetly after (and beyond) death. Survivors struggle on to find a new purpose in reaching out to find new meaning and purpose when left behind.
