Includes 5 songs from the film and 4 that are not in the film. In the late '80s, back when he was the Artist almost known as "has-been," his royal purpleness was in a quandary. That was all to change when Warner Bros. decided that Tim Burton's BATMAN film was just a wee bit too dark, and needed to be funkified.

  • underrated disc is great value

Prince's last gasp of the brilliance everyone talks about, not perfect but well worth it. Forget it's a soundtrack, he used the opportunity to punch out the good stuff. The sense of humour is all there. A good buy, glad I revisited this disc after all these years.
