An excellent product. I am planning to buy another one.

This printer works very well and has WiFi capabilities to connect with a Canon camera without having to pull the SD card out of the camera. It also has convenient SD ports in the front. I really like it as a photo printer which I use it for exclusively. I was also able to get cheaper ink for it which so far is working well.

Poorer Quality Than Same Printer From Years Ago

I replaced an old Canon whose print head finally gave up the ghost. I have a lot of problems with this replacement. First, it was way to difficult to set up on the network and I blame that squarely on the dumbed-down instructions. I hate pictorial instructions! Just give me the facts and lots of them! I could have done this in ten minute if I hadn't had to search for information that wasn't included from Canon! The print quality is no better than what I had in my old MFP, but the software seems to be dumber. I setup for a "fit to page" print and I got a picture that was original size - bigger than the paper. My old printer didn't do that. The only good thing about this printer is the price and it looks like ink is cheap. Other than that? Canon, you need to get out the old plans and see how you used to do it!

  • cheap ink makes it a bargain

was wasting money on Kodak ink (colors all in one cart) looked into the canon line with separate color ink carts. prints great - connected to my wifi easily - ink is cheap as hell thru Sophia global. Great deal all around.

  • Better than expected.

I should have ordered one of these a long time ago. No more spending hours trying to fix our old printer just to save a dollar. These were very reasonably priced, and in case one does bite the dust I have a second one as a backup, and buying this double pack was significantly cheaper than buying one at a big box store.

  • Good overall

Set up on my home network for easy printing and scanning. Ink is always a challenge with canon printing but it's a great value for the money.

  • Compact

Nice MFP, not too happy about all the cartridges but this is second printer. I used a laser jet as my primary. Directions weren't very good for setting up the wireless.

  • Pretty amazing great bang for the buck

I had two large format printers one HP and one was the Canon 9000 I don't remember the prefix. The Canon used I think two more kinds of ink and produced some pretty amazing quality up to 19 x 13. The quality on this is pretty good plus it has a decent scanner 4 round 60 bucks you really can't go wrong. Never had a wireless printer before I can do documents right off the Android phone couldn't be happier. A+ 4 what it is.
