Author BiographyTalim Lessane is a native of Brooklyn, NY and a graduate of Midwood High School, State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany and Howard University. He has been living a plant-based dietary lifestyle for over 20 years. He currently resides in Charleston, SC where he co-parents two amazing teenagers and is guardian/caretaker for two black cats. He started cooking (with his mother's help) at the age of six or seven years old, and also likes hiking in the woods as well as various other forms of exercise; writing poetry; and reading speculative fiction, history and spiritual material. His favorite color is orange, and his favorite quote is I want to die young as late as possible.
