This is my second Nvidia GTX 1080 FE card and has doubled my graphics performance at a reduced price than upgrading to a newer card. This card has held its price from launch day and is well sought after. It is a well designed card and very robust with a fantastic all metal design . NVidia software and support for this card is excellent. A true gamers card. It runs fairly quiet and can be tweaked via the software to run as you require. This was a great buy.

Only a few days after receiving my card it started to emit a loud noise. After taking a look at it, I noticed that one fan was spinning much slower than the other. The problem kept getting worst until I realized that the fan would no longer spin at all. After taking it apart and attempting to lubricate the fan, I noticed just how poorly the fan was made, cheap plastic, an under-powered motor, and few blades were its design. Due to the cheap construction of the fan I couldn't get the fan working as it should causing the thermals to stay at max anytime I was gaming. In the end, I had to remove the fan entirely as it was just a useless piece of plastic. Removing said fan actually made the thermals slightly better. THIS IS RIDICULOUS the card is an HP, although you couldn't tell by looking at it, so stay away from any component of this brand. Read full review

Dollar for dollar the GeForce GTX 1080 offers the best performance for the price. The price drop is due to the debut of the new RTX series of NVIDIA graphics cards. When the GTX 1080 first hit the market, the price put it out of reach for many gamers. The specs on the card are incredibly impressive, and it will run just about any game at 60+ FPS, even with the game's graphics options set to "high". Since most monitors run at 60 Hz, frame rates over 60 FPS won't make a noticeable difference. If your monitor refresh rate is 120 Hz, then any frame rate over 120 FPS is not noticeable. The core clock specs out at 1607MHz, and the boost clock specs out at 1733MHz. Using MSI Afterburner, you can overclock the 1080 to push the limits even further. I upgraded from the 1070 to the 1080 and noticed a perceivable difference in frame rates. The 1080 is capable of handling most games with ease. With the used price average of $315 - $350, this is an incredible value, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to get a powerful graphics card at an affordable price. Read full review

The price was right. This GTX 1080 was an upgrade for my son's computer replacing his 3GB gpu. It works much better and runs games with higher settings.

Good "budget" GPU for nice gaming rig. Still cutting edge enough to satisfy most FPS-heads. Plus VR-ready is a nice plus for the Oculus quest aficionados. The current lack of silicon and silicon scalpers keep prices a mite high , but still a good deal if you can get it for less than $300.00

This has performed excellently in my new PC and had no difficulty rendering the graphics for Half Life: Alyx.

Although I had to pay an arm and a leg for it it is totally worth it. Easy install and over clocks like a champ. Thank for the card!

Now that GPU prices have come down, the GTX 1080 is one of the best price-to-performance options out there. It will easily run modern games at 1080P at over 120FPS and 1440P at over 60PS. Don't pay more than $175 as for under $150 you can buy a 1070 TI, which performs within 10%.

I went from two gtx 780ti cards in sli to a single gtx 1080 and went from averaging 63 fps to 120 fps per game with ultra graphic settings. I have been a PC gamer since the early 90's and have never got this much of a performance increase from an upgrade. The only difficulty I encountered was my build version of Windows 10 if you don't have at least 1507 this card will not work. Every game runs so much better no need for a second card at this time. I definitely would recommend this card to anyone.

The GTX 1070 FE is pretty amazing looking and is, obviously, amazing in hand. This card one of the best cards I've used, but you can get the GTX 1080 for a couple extra dollars and get more performance. Overall, this card is great and I would recommend it. NOTE: This card gets somewhat hot so I recommend using a case with either very efficient air flow OR get a case with extra fans. It will boost its life span and prevent it from dying out too early. BEST USED WITH A CORE i5 OR i7 TO PREVENT BOTTLENECKS.
