Budget super phone
I bought this as an upgrade to my earlier Moto G2, which only had 1GB RAM (8GB total). I use some big apps and lots of task switching, and it was getting sluggish, from not enough free RAM. The G6+ I purchased has 3GB RAM (16GB total; plus I have put a fast 32GB SDCard in it), and it is very quick. Everything is now snappy and happy. The fingerprint scanner is great, allowing single touch unlocking. The G2 will become a dedicated monitor for my home solar/battery system. Very pleased with the G5+. If you can, go for the 4/32GB model. Software has a habit of growing and slowing over time, as updates come along.

The Motorola Moto G5 Plus XT1685 has great features such as NFC, Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 625 processor, 5.2" Full HD 1080p display, Dual Nano-SIM (4G + 3G), 4GB RAM / 32GB ROM, 12MP main camera, 5.2" Full HD 1080p display The dual sim works on the standby mode here in Australia, I use one Telstra sim and one Optus sim, they work perfectly well together. Before I bought the phone I did not understand how the sim cards and the sd card fitted into the phone, I have added a photo so all can see. The phone is a good size 5.2 in., it has a bright screen, good sound and easy to use.

Great little phone with no shortcomings
With a manageable screen size - small enough to carry but large enough to use, smooth fast performance, and featuring the excellent build quality that Motorola is famous for and even excellent performance from the rear camera This phone is yet another proof that there is no good reason for the majority of users to continually update their phones just because there's a new model coming. Best cell phone that I ever had
It is very fast, works great and I love all the features. The only thing that I recommend, is not to use the supplied charger, because it charges the battery too fast. This has the potential to downgrade power storage, shortening the battery life. Using chargers capable to deliver 1A takes the most 2 hours to top up the charge !!! This phone as all the critical features I need and is not cluttered with useless aps. The dual SIM is important to me and I am surprised everyone doesn't look for that feature. Great camera but no Gallery ap. File manager is a new feature and I use it to access my photos rather than Gallery. I group my aps into folders on ONE home page to save scrolling through too many pages. My only slight hesitation is that it seems a little bit slower than my Moto3 when accessing the web. Not bad for a $300 stock andriod phone
It is a clean looking phone with a clean operating system, if you want a stock andriod phone this is as much as non bloat ware you can get apart from paying the $$$ for a google phone. The phone is light and the metal backing is very nice feel in hand. Much faster than my previous phone, and the 4GB 32GB is a good combination, can either dual sim or put a microsim card in for expansion. for a $300 phone the screen is fantastic.
