Good comfortable (most) all purpose headphones
Good but not great, however these phones are all that they are advertised to be. Decent frequency range, lightweight, comfortable and adjustable. Basically you are paying for the Yamaha name here which was fine with me as I love their products. These are now a discontinued model so if you found a pair, you're probably going to get a good price on a very reliable and good sounding set of headphones. Main application would be listening to electronic instruments or prerecorded music such as MP3s etc. My use is for electronic drums which work out fine. I wouldn't recommend these for studio or recording as they wouldn't have a broad enough frequency range but most all other purposes they do the job.
