Kindle Paperwhite Purchase!
I have to say that love my new Kindle Paperwhite and I bought the white one! Te screen clarity is amazing, I can read it while I am at the bus, at the Doctor's Office or anywhere outside my home, as it is so light and fits right in my purse or mini backpack. Its clearer than reading a newspaper outside! If I could change anything on it, it would be the ability to listen to audiobooks on it. My very first Kindle was the Kindle keyboard many years ago, and I still have it and I do listen to my audio books on it. All the Kindle readers do not read the audio books and I feel that Amazon did a disservice to all us Bibliophiles when they did this, however in turn they came out with the Kindle Fire which you can purchase for anywhere from $49.00, and it is a beautiful tablet, so while I would like to have audio on my kindle, I just got a Kindle Fire and I love that too! I suppose the Kindle is for reading! I purchased my Kindle paperwhite on Best Buy store on ebay, and got to pick it up the very next day at Best Buy right by my home! I appreciate this service so much and will use Best Buy for this again! Better off with an actual book...
I'd bought this Oct. 2 of this year and it worked fine until today. It's locked up and cannot leave the current page or access menu choices at all. (tried restarting a few times..) Have paid for 3 books in addition to the purchase price paid here. Well, I thought I'd try one of these, have always read actual paper books until now. Fine devise
My 5th Kindle some were used. I use them a lot so I don't expect the touch screen to last forever I had one last more than 3 years of continual used as I was laid up from surgery. It was a blessing. This is more an economy model whitepaper. The screen is excellent My eyesight isn't so good so I keep the light up. Perfect reading device
